Result from the diaspora vote in Lezha/Manja: DP claimed the 5th mandate, barely

The political leader of the Socialist Party for the Lezha region, Ulsi Manja, has reacted after the completion of the counting of votes from the diaspora for this region. Through a post on social networks, Manja states that there are two winners in this race: the Democratic Party, which claimed to receive a 5th mandate, barely retained its 4th mandate by 71 votes, and the Socialist Party, which increased by 6,283 votes compared to 2021 and regained itself after 35 years.

Manja says that after this result, the work for the next victory begins.

"The final count from the diaspora for Lezha just ended! The SP failed to reach the 4th mandate by only 71 votes, in a historic result for our region!"

I would like to start my thanks with Edi Rama, who trusted me to lead the most combative team of the Socialist Party, the one in the Lezha district! I would like to thank every socialist in Lezha, Kurbin, Mirdita and the diaspora, who supported us with their hearts and votes, without deceit or flattery!

Special thanks to our commissioners, counters, and observers, who counted until the last vote – you are the heart of the SP in Lezha!

There are two winners in this competition:

• The DP, which claimed to receive a 5th mandate, barely retained its 4th mandate by 71 votes;

• and the SP, which increased by 6,283 votes compared to 2021 and rediscovered itself after 35 years!

Be proud of everything we achieved! Tomorrow the work for the next victory begins!
