The Albanian Supreme Audit Office's report on Oncology/ DP requests a motion with debate in the Parliament

The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group has made an official request to the Assembly to develop a motion with debate on the oncology service at the "Mother Teresa" University Hospital Center.

The request of the DP parliamentary group states that the latest report of the Supreme State Audit Office has highlighted the situation in which the healthcare system, and especially the oncology service, finds itself.

According to them, the SAI report highlights and substantiates the concerns raised and complaints of cancer patients regarding the lack of medicines, the use of expired medicines, the lack of laboratory checks, and the provision of timely services.

The official request was signed by MPs: Bardh Spahia, Manjola Luku, Klit Hoti, Tritan Shehu, Erisa Xhixho, Ledina Alolli and Eno Bozdo. /CNA
