Rama: All Albanian students abroad have been provided with free textbooks

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that the process of distributing free textbooks to Albanian students in the diaspora has been completed. Rama writes in his post that for 7 years the government has provided Albanian children abroad with textbooks in the Albanian language.

He indicates that this year alone, 27,198 textbooks have been distributed to students in the diaspora, while since 2019, 117,138 textbooks have been sent to Albanian children in every country in the world.

With much love and dedication, the process of providing and distributing free textbooks to Albanian students in the diaspora has been completed for this school year.

For 7 years, the Albanian Government, through the Ministry of Education and the Diaspora Publishing Center, has been ensuring that Albanian children abroad have access to books of their native language and culture.

This year alone, 27,198 textbooks have been distributed to our students in the diaspora, while since 2019, a full 117,138 textbooks have been sent to Albanian children in every corner of the world, as preserving language and identity is the most meaningful way to keep the connection with the homeland alive.
