Enver Hoxha on the list of personalities/ Këlliçi requests the

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi announced in a post that he has sent an official request to Parliament Speaker Peleshi regarding the inclusion of Enver Hoxha's name on the list of personalities.

Këlliçi writes that even after 24 hours there is still no reaction and this places blame on the Speaker of Parliament and the majority.

The MP writes that the government is trying to undo history with a distorted narrative about the dictator.

Këlliç has demanded an immediate reaction from the Parliament and to condemn the crimes of communism.

 

 

" Still no reaction from the Speaker of the Parliament to the scandalous attempt to "rehabilitate" dictator Enver Hoxha."

Today, in my capacity as a member of the Bureau of the Parliament and a deputy of the Republic of Albania, I sent an official request to the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, to take a position on the treatment of the figure of Enver Hoxha as a people's hero by the Parliamentary Institute itself.

When more than 24 hours have passed since the publication of the shameful and insulting case for every Albanian, every passing minute only blames the Speaker of Parliament and the ruling party, which, through perfidious methods, is trying to undo history and justify the neo-dictatorship with a distorted narrative about the dictator.

The Assembly must react today, without any doubt or hesitation in condemning the crimes of communism.

"Anything else is deeply offensive and criminal to the dignity of every Albanian who values ??freedom, justice and a democratic state ," Këlliçi writes.
