"Rama pressured Veliaj"/ Noka: The mayor says "no", get me

The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, said in a television appearance that Prime Minister Edi Rama has sent words to the arrested mayor Erion Veliaj in his cell.

Words that, according to Noka, Rama asks Veliaj to resign and consequently take the capital to elections.

The Secretary General of the DP stated that Rama is putting pressure on Veliaj, while the latter has made his release a condition for resigning.

 

" Rama has sent Veliaj to prison today. After he himself imprisoned him for his wife's clothes, not for the incinerator. After he imprisoned him, he tells him to resign so that he can put Tirana in the elections with all these municipalities that he has put MPs and mayors in. He is continuing to put pressure on Veliaj in prison.

Veliaj says "no", get me out of prison so I can resign. Theoretically Rama can fire him, but Veliaj says "karma" in prison because he will return. This shows that Rama imprisons you and gets you out of prison , "said Noka./ CNA
