Prime Minister Edi Rama has severely criticized the deputies of the Socialist Party during the Congress speech, calling them lazy.

Rama said that some deputies go out in public only when accompanying him or for a photo.

He emphasized that there are MPs whose voices are heard only when they knock on state offices for their or their family's affairs, they speak in Parliament very rarely and shoot by throwing stones and hiding their hands.

"Parliamentary life is not only the arena of parliamentary sessions, nor does it start and end in committee meetings. The chair of the Assembly is to sit for decision-making, but the task of the MP is to be closer to the voters, with the interest groups to the membership, where the MP's hand and words of wisdom are a condition for good health. The MP may or may not be a mouthpiece, but he can be nothing but an example of communication with people, who has the ambition to solve problems, to grow and be elevated in the eyes of the people, through the work he does for the country.

This should apply to anyone who has the honor of being a SP deputy. To be a deputy of the SP is something that I consider a privilege, incomparable to anything else, to be elected a deputy is a debt that can never be washed to the end. Whoever asks me where I find all this energy and patience, I answer with a smile, but I can't sit comfortably for a single hour, while those who have done me this honor are not sitting comfortably.

I apologize today, that the deputies are not, but they have invested their efforts so that a handful of people are here today as deputies. I apologize to those MPs who are sitting here among us and have not yet fulfilled even the ethical minimum, of appearing on time and at any time for the task for which they are paid. I apologize to those MPs who come out in public to accompany me or for a photo. For those MPs whose voice comes out only when they knock on state offices for their and their family's affairs. Or even those who appear in the pulpit once a month speak as if they came from the moon, while the meetings with people are about the latest news from government gossip portals. Sympathy for some who have become addicted to comments, or shoot by throwing the stone hidden hand, but forgetting out their tongue that does not rest.
