Prime Minister Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama praised Lindita Nikolla, who resigned on Friday as Speaker of the Parliament.

During his speech at the SP Congress, Rama said that Nikolla has shown the dedication of a teacher and has served in the Assembly in 3 difficult years.

He stated that Nikola is a meaningful example of how an elected person should be at any level of representation.

"Lindita served as Speaker of the Assembly of Albania in 3 difficult years of the country's parliamentary life. She did her best as always from the first day as a teacher, high school principal, head of Municipal Unit no. 3, minister of education and deputy of the Assembly of Albania. With the modesty of a dedicated teacher and the seriousness of a person who at any time and in any position has put himself at the service of our political community, Lindita is a meaningful example of how a person elected by this community should be in every step and at every level of representation. Thank you, Lindita, for the strength of the example you are," the head of government emphasized./ CNA
