The Minister of State and Chief Negotiator with the EU, Majlinda Dhuka, has made a call to the Assembly, as she spoke at the SP congress on EU integration.

She said that for the further deepening of the reforms and the fight against corruption, the work between the 3 powers must be harmonized: the legislative, the executive and the judiciary.

According to her, this duty belongs to the Assembly. So she came out on the same line with Fatmir Xhafajn.

"Membership in the EU is the main objective of Albania, the greatest aspiration of Albanians. In Albania, the EU membership has the highest support in all the countries of the region, not that the Albanians are naive and expect a flower bed after the EU integration, but the history lived under occupation, taught us with no one else, except with European family, our future cannot be certain. Our goal is announced, we fulfill the conditions for membership and Albania sits as an equal at the EU table in 2030. The government is working towards this goal, SP has been created as a historical challenge and will succeed in this great historical challenge. Albania opened the negotiations on the basis of merit, beyond the rhetoric of internal political conflicts and thanks to reforms.

157 institutions were involved in this colossal work. Grateful to the negotiation team. 32 institutions and about 1800 public officials have engaged with the European side through the detailed review of the body of EU laws and the preparation of measures that Albania must take to meet the technical criteria for membership within 2030.

To deepen the progress of the Reform in Justice, to ensure its invincibility, to deepen the modernization of governance and the transformation of public administration. Thirdly, we need to deepen the fight against corruption, we need to dynamize economic reforms, improve the business climate, increase investments in infrastructure and innovation.
