Prime Minister Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in this Saturday's podcast, invited Gersi Troka, a boy with special abilities, who won the gold medal at the Special Olympic Games in Berlin.

During the conversation, Rama also spoke about the employment of people with different abilities. He stated that businesses have an obligation that 1 in 25 employees must have special skills.

He stated that despite the fact that this law exists, companies generally do not apply it due to prejudice.

" We have actually introduced this work into the law, but companies, in general, do not apply that they must have 1 person with special skills in 25 employees, if I'm not mistaken. They don't apply it because they have prejudices and seeing you, you help them understand that people with special abilities need a little attention and patience to communicate and then they are absolutely like everyone else. In fact, in certain cases they are smarter and more hardworking than others and we are making a work plan that we will begin to insist on this so that people with special abilities have their place, according to the law and have their access to work according to the law. Even at this point, you help us today. What we have not done well, we will do better.

But as you said before, complaints are one of the best things that this job has to learn both to act and to correct things because if no one complains and if reality is only seen through the eyes of those who write the reports, when you read a lot of things that are not listed here. Not to say that many things are written according to that, one thing is covered, something else is embellished. So at this point we are in order ", the head of the government emphasized./ CNA
