Orientation towards professional education/ Manastirliu from Durrës: Choice

The intensive communication campaign of the Ministry of Education and Sports, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, municipalities, educational structures, teachers, students and parents, for the orientation of students towards vocational education, as the path to secure employment.

The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, said that this intensive communication will be extended to all schools in the country, to guide students towards professional education and acquiring a trade.

"We, as the Minister of Education and Sports, have decided to join forces with all structures, to give all our students the right knowledge, skills and skills towards safe employment. The campaign that we have launched will be extended to all the cities of the country and aims to inform teachers, parents, students how valuable it is to choose a trade, how valuable it is to choose a profession from an early age ", Minister Manastirliu underlined.

During her speech, the Minister of Education and Sports emphasized the strengthening of career counseling cores in schools.

"We have decided that the core of counseling and career guidance at the school can operate starting from the sixth grade. The sixth grade, starting this year, will include career orientation in its curriculum, and this will also extend to the seventh and eighth grades, in addition to the ninth grade, which currently has this direction. Career counseling from an early age will be intensively included in the school curriculum, so that the trinomial that we have so important: parent, student, teacher, can also coordinate the professional development of the career of each student". Minister Manastirliu emphasized.

Also present at the activity were the Mayor of Durrës, Mrs. Emiriana Sako, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Olta Manjani, and representatives of educational structures, professional education, business representatives, etc.

The representative of the business, Luan Bregasi, was also present at this activity, who said that for students of vocational education, the business is open and offers great employment opportunities.

Durrës is the first city where the communication campaign of the Ministry of Education and Sports and the Ministry of Finance and Economy with teachers, students and parents on the orientation towards vocational education has started, to continue throughout the country./ CNA
