"We will never play with two gates"/ Rama addresses the government of

Prime Minister Edi Rama in his speech in the Assembly did not hesitate to sting the government of Kosovo, regarding its reactions to his statements about the events in Banjska. 

He emphasized that Albania does not have the luxury of playing with two goals and will never do so.

Rama said that the result for Kosovo is not a gesture of internal electoral consumption, as is happening in Pristina, but a clear message for Brussels. He said that in Tirana and Pristina there are some who do not want to understand that today's Albania is not what it used to be in the international arena.

"Not even an act of heroism, but it remains a political act, a contradiction in our documents with Brussels. What we did was more than a sudden declaration of Albania, it was a manifestation of dissatisfaction, to give a clear message about the weight of seriousness of that event. We need regional cooperation. We did not make a gesture of internal electoral consumption. Nor have there been a number of gestures in Prishtina for a long time now in relation to the dialogue and to our government. We maintained a principled and political position in the function of encouraging Brussels. In Tirana and Pristina there are some who do not want to understand that today's Albania is not what it used to be in the international arena. We will never play with two gates. We do not have the luxury of playing with two gates," said Rama.
