Albania was elected a member of the Human Rights Council for the period 2024-2026, after receiving 123 votes in favor at the UN General Assembly yesterday afternoon.
Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted to this news, saying that Albania took on another important international role.
He says we will sit in the Human Rights Council alongside 14 other states.
Through a status on social networks, Rama lists the 15 states that will be members of KDNJ.

Albania sits on the UN Human Rights Council. Yesterday, 123 member countries of the UN General Assembly voted in favor of Albania as one of the 15 countries that will sit in the KHR from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026.
