Regions, a Trojan horse for the SP?/ Kaso with a firm attitude

The representative of the Democratic Party, Ivi Kaso, speaking today about the Electoral and Territorial Reforms, emphasized that they should proceed at the same time, which, according to him, is not happening.

He also emphasized that the regions mentioned by the SP should not serve as a pretext to change the constitution.

"The two Electoral and Territorial reforms are organically connected. It is not happening that they walk at one speed. A product for Territorial Reform should not serve as a pretext to bargain for Electoral Reform. We do not want the Regions mentioned by the SP to become a Trojan Horse to affect the Constitution, to give the majority power without votes. It would be the most harmful thing for a democracy, especially under the conditions of a fragile democracy like ours. We have set up working groups for Territorial and Electoral Reform in order to be ready for any type of product. "- said Kaso./ CNA.al
