The former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, spoke this evening about the opening of negotiations for Albania and North Macedonia.

In an interview, Manjani stated that we have good news, while emphasizing that the negotiations with the EU are hell, the iron and fiery tongs of any government, as it will be controlled.

"When the negotiations were opened and they sat down at the table with Brussels, the governments fell. This is the best possible news, that those negotiations are on the side of the Albanian people, to control the abusive government of this country. This is the situation. This is the worst possible day for a government like Edi Rama's," said Manjani for "A Shoë".

He further stated that Rama did not want the negotiations to join the European Union while emphasizing that Brussels is the ally of the Albanians.

"The real EU is there, in the competition, the market, not in the port of Durrës with the Arabs. This is real opposition. Brussels, our greatest ally. We need Brussels, even slow Brussels," said Manjani./ CNA.al
