The counting ends/ SP takes the majority of mandates for the Municipal Council in Peqin

The process of counting votes for the Municipal Council of Peqin Municipality has been completed.

The Socialist Party leads the council with 39.12% of the votes, or 9 mandates.

The next grouping in terms of the number of councilors removed from their lists is the "Together We Win" coalition with 17.24% of the votes, or 4 mandates in the new Municipal Council.

Enkelejd Alibeaj's PD with 14.69% of the votes has produced 3 councilors and Miftar Daja has managed to secure a place in the Rrogozhin City Council as an independent candidate.

The Social Democratic Party and the Agrarian Environmentalist Party of Albania each received 1 mandate.

The Albanian Republican Party secured 2 mandates./ CNA.al
