The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition, Belind Kelliçi, has stated that he will not stop working for the benefit of the citizens of Tirana at any moment.

After the election results, Kelliçi said in a statement to the media that the "Together We Win" coalition should reflect the result and understand even better what the citizens want.

Among other things, he emphasized that he will prove every violation that was committed during the election process.

According to Kelliç, the election result does not correspond to what people, citizens think about the current mayor and this is easily verifiable everywhere.

The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition added that the members of the Municipal Council will adequately represent all citizens.

" I am here to thank over 100,000 citizens who on May 14 believed and voted for the change in Tirana.

I thank the PD structures that gave everything of themselves, my campaign team, the team of candidates for the City Council, friends, the many collaborators of this campaign, and especially our commissioners, observers and enumerators. I humbly ask them to continue the counting in every center where the votes for the members of the Municipal Council are still to be guaranteed. Every vote cast for our team is of vital importance for Tirana.

The result of the May 14 elections, unfortunately, does not reflect reality and is not an expression of the free will of the citizens.

This result is influenced by a machine of blackmail and violence against public administration, business and citizens.

Public assets have been made available and utilized to the maximum to deliver this result today. We are working around the clock to prepare full documentation of any breach that has been committed.

The result does not correspond to what people, citizens think about the current mayor and this is easily verifiable everywhere, in every corner of Tirana, in the city or village.

I appeared in these elections under far from normal circumstances, like all the opposition candidates. I was fully aware of participating in the most unequal electoral race of these 33 years, and yet I still chose to appear before the citizens with a concrete, detailed program and a platform that focused on the needs of the citizens and that offered real solutions to daily concerns.

However, this was not enough. The residents and voters of Tirana did not react to the degree to defeat the opponent's mechanism, which is based on pressure, seduction, intimidation, corruption and propaganda.

I have read this fact very well. Our society seems to demand something different and expect more from us. We all need to reflect on what has happened and I should certainly be the first to do so.

Kjo nuk do të thotë se do tërhiqemi, përkundrazi, duhet që të gjithë bashkë të bëjmë shumë më shumë se kaq. Por së pari duhet të kërkojmë brenda nesh, për të kuptuar saktë dhe analizuar me ftohtësi se çfarë publiku, opinioni, banorët dhe votuesit kërkojnë prej nesh.

Gjatë fushatës sime ja dola të bëj transparencë për punët publike të Bashkisë Tiranë, për bilancin real të saj, për abuzimin dhe vjedhjen e përditshme të taksave, keqpërdorimin e pushtetit si dhe nxorra në publik disa afera tronditëse. Çështje këto të trajtuara deri më tani si sekret shtetëror nga mediat dhe institucionet ligjzbatuese.

Jam krenar për këtë shërbim që i kam bërë qytetit tim.

Tirana ka nevojë për opozitë, po aq sa ka nevojë për ujë të pijshëm.

In this battle, I gave everything of myself, even giving up the mandate of the Deputy, a mandate that I got with a lot of work and effort. I am also happy to say that our team in the City Council will represent us all, without any distinction, and will make us proud with its work.

Our Tirana deserves to be governed well and honestly. Tirana deserves much more, and I will continue to do this in any position or commitment that I will find.
