SP presides in the Municipal Council/ Veliaj "invites" Kellici to cooperate

Today, the final result regarding the race for mayor of Tirana was announced, where Erion Veliaj was re-approved as mayor for the third time in a row with a deep result.

In an interview, Veliaj expressed that he feels optimistic that the opposition spirit in the City Council has increased and called for cooperation for a common goal, the development of Tirana.

He has shown himself to be pessimistic and not sure if there will be a bridge of cooperation with some members from the BF lists but who, according to him, are followers of Meta.

" I see a greater opportunity to work with the people of Belin than of Meta.

In their list, 2-3 people are from Belind, the others are from Meta.

Clearly, now that more than 2 3 of the votes have been counted, we have absolute superiority in the municipal council.

My invitation is to cooperate to move Tirana forward" , said Veliaj./ CNA.al
