Yesterday, the Central Election Commission demanded the fine of 20 mayors who allegedly used public resources for the electoral campaign of the May 14 elections.

This request was reviewed at today's meeting of the Appeals and Sanctions Commission.

It has turned out that the socialist mayors have used the official page on the social networks of the institution they run for their advertising.

But KAS has decided to fine only 15 of the 20 mayors for whom administrative measures were requested with 100,000 ALL.

The mayors of Librazhd, Gramsh, Bulqiza, Konispoli and Vora escaped the fine.

Fined mayors:

Andi Salla, Chairman of Cërrik Municipality

Armando Subashi, Mayor of Fier Municipality

Gledian Llatja, Mayor of Elbasan Municipality

Redjan Krali, Mayor of Kavaje Municipality

Klement Ndoni, Mayor of Këlcyre Municipality

Erion Isai, Mayor of Cologne Municipality

Safet Gjici, Mayor of Kuka Municipality

Pjerin Ndreu, Mayor of Lezhë Municipality

Eriselda Sefa, Mayor of Lushnjë Municipality

Qerim Ismailaj, Mayor of Mallakastër Municipality

Nuri Belba, Mayor of Përrenja Municipality

Pali Kolevski, Mayor of Pustec Municipality

Majlinda Bufi, Mayor of Roskovec Municipality
