The Political Leader of the SP for Tirana District, Erion Veliaj, mocked Lulzim Basha during a meeting he held in Kavajë, together with the SP candidate for this municipality, Redjan Kralin.

Veliaj said that the resigned chairman of the DP, who is still the chairman of the court and who has not been active in this electoral campaign, tried to overthrow Edi Rama. He declared that the lonely Basha got so tired that he ran home.

"I need you to support Red, to move Kavaja forward in these 4 years. By moving Kavaja forward, also move all these businesses forward. I find it insulting when someone says: 'Give us Kavaja to overthrow Edi Rama'. First, lonely Lul Basha tried it, so much so that he got tired and ran home. So he tried this story with protests. Today, this government has an absolute majority in all polls. Using the government or the municipality, as an instrument to fight each other, is something that does not work, because it has not worked.
