They used public resources for the campaign/ CEC demands fines for 20 mayors

20 mayors are suspected of having used public resources for the electoral campaign of the May 14 local elections.

Based on these doubts, the Central Elections Commission today demanded the fining of the socialist mayors.

It has also been requested to fine 5 General Secretariats and two school principals, for using posts with party content on the official websites of the ministries.

The CEC has based these suspicions on the denunciation of the "Civic Attitude" Center and has launched an administrative investigation. After that, the CEC sent to KAS the request for fining the mayors and officials who abused the funds.

The mayors for whom a fine was requested:

Arif Tafani, mayor of Belsh municipality;

Lefter Alla, mayor of Bulqiza municipality;

Andis Salla, mayor of Cërrik municipality;

Armando Subashi, mayor of Fier municipality;

Gledian Llatja, mayor of Elbasan municipality;

Klodian Taçe, mayor of Gramsh municipality;

Redjan Krali, mayor of Kavaje municipality;

Klement Ndoni, mayor of Këlcyre municipality;

Erion Isai, mayor of Cologne municipality;

Shuaip Beqiri, mayor of Konispol municipality;

Safet Gjici, mayor of Kukës municipality;
