The candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition for the municipality of Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, continued his tour of meetings with citizens on the streets of the capital. While stopping at Unit No. 9, Belind Këlliçi closely observed the problems of this neighborhood, which seem to have not been solved for years. He told the media present during his meetings with the citizens that the main problems are those related to traffic, the lack of schools, nurseries and kindergartens, which are also in short supply in this area and do not meet the needs of the citizens.

"The main problem is a heavy traffic at every hour of the day. The traffic is catastrophic. On the other hand, you see that there is an excessively polluted air, due to the traffic and large cars that pass by. Small businesses are always in trouble, because they pay taxes regularly, they pay the education infrastructure tax twice, once as a business and once as a family, and because they pay green cleaning fees, they don't receive it as a service. They pay a good portion of the fee for the public space and it is very high. On the other hand, this area has a significant deficiency due to the lack of schools, kindergartens and nurseries. it is an area with around 90,000 inhabitants, and there are only 2 nurseries and 3 kindergartens, and this is not enough for the entire area", said Belind Kelliçi.

He also commented on the investment for the "Sami Frashëri" school, where its facade alone, according to Belind Këlliç, cost 700,000 euros. Kelliçi said that the students do not need a facade, but good learning facilities, emphasizing that the money used for the facade of this gymnasium could have been invested in the construction of schools in areas where they are missing.

"It's very true, I've said it and I'll say it again, the "Sami Frashëri" school is a very respected school in Tirana. it is an excellent high school, but there is no need to spend 700,000 euros on the facade of a school, when in the meantime, I am taking the last chance, there is no school in Yrshek and Katundi Ri. There is no school in Vishnje. Meanwhile, with that money, only the facade of a school in Tirana was built, because the students of a school do not need facades, the students need good classes, good, safe premises with heating in winter, of course with another school could have been built before that. So it has nothing to do with the gymnasium, but it has to do with the theft of funds from the Tirana municipality" - said Kelliçi.

Continuing further, Kelliçi touched on the issue of water shortage. He stated that after May 14, investments in the network will be worked on, in order for the citizens of Tirana to have drinking water up to 17 hours a day.

"There is a problem with drinking water. Of course, they have water because they have deposits on the buildings. Water comes 3-4 hours a day, when the time is propagated by the Municipality of Tirana, which is at least 17 to 24 hours a day. Citizens complain that they pay three times for drinking water; tap water, water they buy for cooking, water they buy for drinking and electricity. It will be invested in the current network which is very depreciated. It will be invested in the current white water network to really reach the city of Tirana 14 to 17 hours a day, and the water to be consumable. So this is my objective, it is not my objective to lie to the citizens", said Kelliçi.
