Prime Minister Edi Rama has again today criticized the socialist mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli, whom he previously called an "unwanted" person in the SP.

Rama said during a meeting with citizens that Vlora is the most problematic municipality that SP has. He accused Leli of not cleaning the municipality and criticized him for the construction permits granted.

Therefore, he emphasized that the coastal city needs a mayor who sleeps last and knows how to respect every citizen, left and right.

"Vlora needs a mayor who sleeps last. Unfortunately, in all the municipalities, Vlora is the most problematic municipality and this is unacceptable that I cannot come and the government can come here to clean Vlora. Vlora is cleaned by the municipality. And Vlora is one of the main players of Albania that we want to make the champion of the Balkans in tourism. And we cannot become champions of tourism in the Balkans if we do not leave tourists speechless when they come to Vlora and do not find a piece of paper on the ground.

Vlora needs a mayor who is measured 7 times before signing a construction permit like the one I have in front of me now. And after measuring 7 times, the 7th time he asks 7 others and then makes decisions that cannot be undone. We have a big problem with decisions that are no longer reversed in all of Albania, but also in Vlora. Vlora needs a mayor who has respect for every socialist in the first place. Vlora needs a mayor who loves the socialists unconditionally and respects the democrats, the democratic citizens unconditionally" , emphasized the head of the government./ CNA.al
