The Central Election Commission has made a strong appeal to the institutions regarding the electoral campaign for the May 14 elections.

The CEC gives the institutions an ultimatum to immediately delete any posts or reposts of an electoral nature from their official pages on social platforms.

The statement states that making the official pages available on the institutions' social networks constitutes a waste of public resources.

" Order from the CEC. Immediately delete any post or repost of an electoral character from the official pages of the institutions on the "Facebook" platform or any other electronic means (social media).

Making available the official pages on "Facebook" or any other electronic means (social media) of public institutions for the publication and reposting of activities of a political/electoral character in the elections, by these institutions, constitutes a waste of public resources.
