The head of the FRPD of Durrës, Shyqyri Myrtollari, denounced today that the supporters of the "Together We Win" coalition candidate in Durrës, Igli Carës, were blackmailed by 10 people while they were distributing flyers.

On 06.05.2023, around 14:00, the candidate for mayor of the "Together We Win" coalition announced by phone that around 13:00, in a neighborhood in Sukth, Durrës, a group of 6-7 people had were in this neighborhood, with a vehicle with the logo of the "Together We Win" coalition, and according to them, two citizens driving two vehicles had verbally threatened them to leave the neighborhood.

Under these conditions, the candidate for mayor of the "Together We Win" coalition has been invited to file a report, but so far neither he nor any other citizen has appeared to file a report regarding the claim raised during the phone call.

The Crime Investigation Specialists at the Durres Police Station, immediately after receiving the phone call, notified the available prosecutor at the Durres Prosecutor's Office and then the services of the Durres Police Station went to the given address.

After the information received, two persons were identified and escorted to the Durrës Police Station, namely citizens FT, 25 years old and AM, 31 years old, residents of Sukth, who stated that they did not threaten anyone, but argued with people not to put posters and flyers under their houses or throw them on the street.

At the end of the actions, the procedural materials in charge of the above two citizens will be sent to the Prosecutor's Office for evaluation.
