Only a few days separate us from the local elections on May 14 and Enkelejd Alibeaj continues to campaign attacking the former prime minister Sali Berisha.

At the meeting he is holding in Pogradec, Alibeaj once again made Berisha responsible for the fact that there are no candidates for all municipalities.

He said that the fault for the situation in which the PD is located lies with the head of the Democrats. Also, Alibeaj declared that Berisha should open his arms and make way for others.

Either for candidates for City Council, or for candidates. The Democratic Party is a heavy political jersey. Historically, in these 33 years, people have had their eyes only on the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party still maintains this nerve, this bone. However, the situations came like this in this 1 and a half year and I will tell them and be clear with all of you. Those who are in the Democratic Party today, you, who are here today on the most difficult day, have neither the slightest fault nor the slightest weight of responsibility for the situation where it is today. Someone else is to blame today. And guilt has a name.

The fault is yes, the responsibility is Sali Berisha. Sali Berisha and the mentality he carries with him. The phenomenon with which he has brought it to the fore in these 2 years, but apparently it has been a phenomenon in hibernation within the Democratic Party that we Democrats have felt and experienced all along. But in these 2 years, he came out and stood out. And what is this phenomenon? The phenomenon according to which the party is mine, is born with me and dies politically with me, when the end comes to me.
