Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media, requested an urgent meeting of the parliament on Thursday to vote on the law for increasing salaries and pensions.

Thus he challenged Prime Minister Edi Rama, saying that if his promises are true and not just in the framework of the campaign, the law should be voted on Thursday.

" With a shameful agreement with Alibasha, he closed the parliament, and he only did this because that promise was a fraud, but I am here today on behalf of the Albanian citizens, I invite you to urgently convene the parliament on Thursday and vote on the law for the increase of wages and pensions.

Making fun of people who count even pennies by luring them with empty promises is a cynical act and done during a campaign is an electoral crime.

I say to Rama, be a man with feelings for the citizens and let's vote for the salary increase law.

This is not aimed at cooperation with you, but at the support of Albanian citizens. So Thursday is a test day for the truth of this promise", said Berisha.
