Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi has announced that 7 elite athletes will receive the rank of "Colonel of the Armed Forces of Albania".

During the ceremony for the promotion of the athletes, Pelesi said that the Armed Forces are working every day to make Albania stronger, while revealing that the base is being built in Kuçovo.

Among other things, the minister added that every soldier now has a salary 40% higher than last year.

" We will give the rank of colonel to 7 elite athletes. We will give them the rank of "Colonel of the Armed Forces of Albania".

The Armed Forces fly the flag of Albania in 7 missions today in the world, in NATO operations.

The Armed Forces work every day to make our Albania stronger. We are building the base in Kuçovo, that of Porto Romano. We are contributing to the alliance by strengthening the wing through the military base in Porto Romano.

We are also adding our cyber defense specialists.

We are increasing our defense capacity, we are making our flag stronger.

Today, every soldier's salary is 40% higher than last year", said Peleshi./ CNA.al
