"We win together" coalition candidate for Shijak Municipality, Rezeart Tusha

The Socialist Party has asked the Central Election Commission to de-register the candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition for the Municipality of Shijak, Rezeart Tusha.

SP has made this request with the claim that he was expelled from Switzerland in 1997 for possession of narcotics.

Socialists appeal to the CEC to carry out a full and quick investigation against Tusha.

"Currently, the CEC has the opportunity to offer the voters of the Shijak Municipality a candidacy that guarantees "public trust in the function of elected state bodies" and in this context the candidate Rezeart Tusha does not offer this guarantee at all. Termination of candidacy by deregistration at this stage, in an eventuality, protects and guarantees the democratic functioning of local government bodies", the document states, among other things./ CNA.al
