"The Parliament has become poorer in quality"/ Xhaferri: Let's

The elected DP MP, Besart Xhaferri, stated today that given the political situation in the country, the Democratic Party should launch its opposition action in parliament, on the ground or even throughout Albania.

In an interview on 'Syri TV', Xhaferri criticized the figures of parliament and said that it has become poorer in quality.

Xhaferri added that the main axis of the parliamentary opposition is and will be to awaken internal and external factors to the events in the country.

"There is no great value in being a deputy in a parliament where there are figures of drugs and trafficking. The parliament has been impoverished in the quality, integrity and character of the deputy. For the deputies in power, their personal card does not matter when their interests are put before the national ones. Today it is a prime ministerial Republic, even though its madness exceeds financial limits. A parliament that emerged from an electoral farce, and this should make us start our opposition action, both in parliament, on the ground or even in all of Albania.

The experiment of mandates was done, and something that was tried and that was very harmful cannot be asked for a second time. I believe we have understood that it should not be done. There should no longer be a parliamentary life. The opposition demands its rights, and how they are given. Parliamentary life will be almost in pieces. But the stage to make our causes both inside and outside it,

The new government is a first film. It has nominated various anonymous ministers as Big Brother, so that it can have in its hands, puppets and scapegoats for the future, so that a puppet can be released or replaced in the future. A prime minister who has bankrupted businesses and depopulated Albania. The main interest for the ministers is that they are talking about the power brokers, who want access to the ministry to get tenders and commit corruption. The name of a minister of each department will not change anything.

May 11 was a battle that the opposition and the opposition people were defeated with a farce. Keeping democracy alive is now taking hold of the judiciary, which does not obey it, the media… I think it should be the awakening of the national factor to raise people to fight, and secondly the awakening of the international factor, to tear off the mask of this regime. Our existential struggle as an opposition is and will always be. The main axis of the parliamentary opposition and the one on the ground is to awaken the internal and external factor”, said Xhaferri. /CNA
