The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, spoke yesterday from Shkodra, using a slightly different language from his other public appearances.

The head of the SPAK has said that there are prosecutors who "flirt" with the government or, on the other hand, the further progress of the investigations on the "McGonigal" file and that everyone involved will be called.

Altin Dumani is facing what he himself has called the constitutional independence of the institution he leads, and the expectations of public opinion are high. They are big because of the support that comes from the EU and the US and this was clearly seen a few days ago in a statement held by the ambassadors of the 27 EU countries.

But the public has begun to divide due to political battles, the positions of the opposition, the attacks of Edi Rama who did not expect any more, the accusations of Sali Berisha about SPAK prosecutors and so on.

In fact, there may be a decrease in credibility in public opinion, but the majority support SPAK and in this case the public is like in "Big Brother", watching and watching and watching, waiting for justice in Albania.

It is enough to take an analysis of what has happened until today.

In almost a year after the arrival of Duman, there were many files, which were sleeping. They slept because the former head of SPAK, Arben Kraja, had clear connections with the government and this was shown with facts and documents from CNA, just as it has been said for many other prosecutors.

On the other hand, for Altin Duman, no one has raised a corruption charge, no one has found a fact and no one has shown a connection with the government, on the contrary, the phrase, a man of integrity and a fair prosecutor, has always been articulated.

Opposite or alongside there are also prosecutors who "flirt" with power, or even worse, prosecutors who "flirt" with crime, with cases of murders in SPAK that were sent to Shkodër, or individuals who have investigated ministers and do not even press charges .

Until today, in one year SPAK's biggest events are the isolation of Sali Berisha, the arrest of Jamarbë Malltez, the investigation of Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi, the indictment of Fatmir Mediu, on the other hand the Dumani standard regarding Arben Ahmetaj , the latter hit by the Special Prosecutor's Office a year after he left office and Ilir Beqajn, who appears, or the investigations of Olta Xhaçka, which have become murky.

All these speak for themselves, they speak of that "Big Brother" and the public support that SPAK has, now the works are expected./CNA
