The candidate for deputy of the DP-ASHM in the May 11 elections, Aulon Kalaja, said today that he will fight to the end for the mandate, as he is among the contestants who have filed a request to appeal the election results.

Invited to a television show, Kalaja said that for him, Albania comes before the party.

According to him, there was an electoral crime on May 11th and he believes that SPAK should deal with this issue.

"I am one of those people who does not put the party before Albania, Albania comes first. Will I go to SPAK? In fact, SPAK should come to me. I also made the call for the Socialist Party, there are serious men and women there, who have seen electoral crime there. We are not the only soldiers who have stepped out of line. I believe that SPAK itself should deal with this work. Will I go to this battle to the end? Yes, definitely, I have embarked on this path," said Kalaja./CNA
