Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that every building constructed and every construction permit will be linked to a relevant person. According to him, the violation will now have an address and added that the persons in question will be responsible for every certification at every stage. He said that responsible inspectors will also be appointed who will follow the process until the end.

He warned that inspectors who turn a blind eye will face harsh measures such as immediate dismissal from duty and criminal prosecution. The head of government also announced that no denunciation of the occupation of public spaces on the "My Space" portal will be ignored.

"Every building and every construction permit will be linked to the relevant persons. Guilt will no longer be anonymous. People will be held accountable for every certification at every stage. There are a series of measures that make turning a blind eye fatal. A responsible inspector will be appointed and will be there until the end of the process. Further, there will be immediate dismissal from duty for all inspectors who do not point out violations. In any case of proven inaction, the measure is immediate dismissal from duty, criminal prosecution and non-return to state work for a certain period of time. No denunciation on the "My Space" portal will be left as if it did not happen.
