Finally, in a publication that Mero Baze himself has made, he tells us that Albania's path to the EU passes through Erion, but, according to him, we may have problems with our integration into the EU due to the injustice being done to the mayor of Tirana who has paid, employed and enriched Mero Baze and his family.

In fact, SPAK seems to be the only institution that guarantees Albania on the path towards the EU, since one of the key points of the EU is the unstoppable fight against corruption of high-ranking state officials, politicians and the administration. Therefore, SPAK is not doing anything else but simply fighting and paving the way for Albania towards the EU.

It seems to be the only cell left in the fight against crime and corruption, the only institution with European standards that is giving Albania the opportunity to move forward by fighting corruption in the senior state administration and in politics.

But Mero does not emphasize it as it is, but tells us that there may be problems with EU integration because prosecutors have done injustice to Erion Veliaj, while it is not the prosecutors who are keeping Erion Veliaj in prison.

Prosecutors investigate and file charges, if prosecutors do not prove them Erion Veliaj has been unjustly held in prison.

But so far there have been at least 3 court decisions that have confirmed Erion Veliaj's imprisonment due to the serious criminal offenses he has committed.

On the other hand, Mero Baze wants to tell us that EU integration is threatened by Erion.

No EU integration is jeopardized by Erion.

But if the latter were free, we would have a justice system captured and corrupted by the government, and then the alarm sirens for EU integration would sound.

As long as SPAK is doing its job, making clear court decisions, finding evidence of Erion Veliaj's corruption and legal violations, the path to the EU is safer than ever.

Maybe Mero will cry, maybe he will laugh, but Albania's path to the EU does not pass through Erion Veliaj , even though Mero may be paid by Erion Veliaj's dirty money or his family members who distribute advertisements or people who turn someone from a poor "sock" into a rich "sock"./ CNA
