The DP candidate for Tirana, Lisandër Hoxha, stated that at the beginning, when they requested a recount of the votes, the party did not support it.

In a show on A2Cnn, Hoxha said that after there was a fuss about the recount of votes for all districts, the issue changed.

He further accused someone of having an interest in moving the votes within the category, but Hoxha said that they would find the person who did this on the way.

"I am one of those free people who owe my mandate and votes to the citizens and no one in the party. Being free, I have all the freedom possible to express my opinion as I have it. The entire focus should be on the electoral massacre, which really happened, but I cannot rule this out either. In this context, I am grateful that we have some DP candidates who dare and speak in the public interest, not the mandate. This story should never be repeated, because it is a shame to steal someone else's vote at the ballot box.
