Failure beyond the misery of the opposition

The media have reported that the opposition and its MPs, after the defeat, have started dirty provocations, taking advantage of their defeat and the despair that has gripped religious communities . They are proposing laws, throwing tantrums, and throwing documents in people's faces.

As if the opposition and its people can take and use religious communities as "cannon fodder" for the worries of defeat, for scandals, and for the powerlessness to overthrow a government that has been in power for 12 years, scandal after scandal.

CNA brings a material about a proposal commented on by MP Lefter Geshtenja, where the Muslim Community and its believers are shamefully used . In a banal and dirty way, Lefter Geshtenja and the opposition propose that special permission be given or that facilities be created for believers to pray in private businesses or state institutions .

This is an unheard of idiocy . Albania is officially a secular state . Why do we need such provocations? To throw some cards in the government's face, so that the opposition can benefit by exploiting religious communities.

According to Lefter Geshtenja's proposal, we should build mosques and churches in every institution because Lefter says if we have more than 50 employees in every ministry, we should build a mosque.

On the other hand, the Catholic and Orthodox Communities, who have their own feast days during the week, of their Saints, must build churches to pray on that day, and the Bektashi believers can build their own tombs or tekkes.

Is Lefter Geshtenja a fool or is he crazy that he will not have a mandate as an MP, who he was and what scandals and affairs he was involved in, this is known . But using religious communities with such idiotic proposals to build shrines and get time off from work to pray is unheard of.

The Albanian state is secular. It officially recognizes the holidays of religious communities, it has been agreed with them and here everything is closed. With the proposal of Lefter Geshtenja, within every ministry, within every enterprise, within every institution, perhaps in every palace we should have a mosque and a church to pray in. Meanwhile, places of prayer, churches and mosques are located everywhere in Albania. There are no more cities without mosques and churches. There are no more villages since the history of the country, centuries ago, and not today.

Therefore, such proposals are simply despair, worries that translate into shame and scandal for an opposition that seems shameless , throwing tantrums to attack and misuse religious communities and the wonderful coexistence, one of the best symbols that our country has./ CNA
