"The current electoral code should be thrown in the trash"/

The DP candidate on the open list, Ilir Alimehmeti, has declared that the current Electoral Code should be thrown in the trash.

According to him, the vote recount is a positive precedent.

Also during the interview, Alimehmeti stated that DP leader Sali Berisha supported him in his request for transparency.

"We still don't know how to count the votes. The recount will happen. Now there are a series of procedures that we need to be informed about. It is a positive precedent. Stay in class once and take the test again and we hope that the CEC will get a positive grade. It is a great right to demand great transparency about the way the elections were held. Berisha has supported us. We must leave our children a legacy of free and fair elections. This Electoral Code should be thrown in the trash. The competition should be between parties and not candidates of the same political party", emphasized Alimehmeti./ CNA
