Recount/Këlliçi: We have about 17 thousand ballots to bring

The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, spoke in a television appearance about the KAS decision to open the ballot boxes in the capital.

Këlliçi said that the DP has about 17 thousand ballots, from which they can secure the 14th mandate and consequently Ilir Alimehmeti will go to Parliament.

Further, Këlliçi said that from the footage they have seen, vote trafficking from the DP to the SP is clearly visible.

" To fulfill part of the request of the DP candidates, for the opening of the Tirana ballot boxes. In Tirana we have about 17 thousand ballots that we suspect may have enough votes to get the 14th mandate to bring Alimehmet to parliament. It doesn't matter who we get it from. It's a game between the SP and the Opportunity.

"We have requested the opening of the boxes for all electoral materials in the Tirana district, accompanied by a request to the CEC for the administration of the footage of all the centers where voting took place. When we received the footage, we saw that there was evidence of vote trafficking from the DP to the SP in flagrante delicto. Our request was made by Franc Nuri and Asllan Dogjani, who witnessed these things ," said Këlliçi./ CNA
