Balluku inspects the monitoring and operation center of the Llogara Tunnel

The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, visited today the monitoring and operation center of the Llogara tunnel.

In her speech, Balluku emphasized that the signage is complete and must be respected to avoid cases of violation of the Traffic Code.

Balluku also highlighted the importance of working conditions at the monitoring center.

 "This is where it all starts, and I want to make some announcements. On the other hand, I must say that it is very important that all drivers understand that they are being monitored. In the last week that we started operations, and once again, we have had cases of violations of the Highway Code, which must be recorded in the Llogara tunnel. There is no overtaking in the tunnels. The signage is complete and must be respected.

We will show you the cameras, because you should know that everything is recorded. Being recorded, the Traffic Police has every file from every minute of the tunnel's operation. Of course, all those who have violated the speed limit, all those who have violated road safety rules, should know that they will face the Traffic Police, who will undoubtedly take the appropriate measures. If they have not stopped you, it does not mean that there will not be a fine or a penalty in terms of your driving license.
