Last day of "Defender 25"/ Minister Vengu: Cooperation in all phases

The Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, visited the Biza training region, on the occasion of the conclusion of the multinational exercise "Defender 2025".

Minister Vengu was accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, the Commander of the Land Force, Major General Ilir Xhebexhia, the Commander of the Air Force, Major General Ferdinant Dimo, as well as the Director of the General Staff, Brigadier General Ardian Lilo.

During the visit, the Minister of Defense and other senior leaders of the Armed Forces closely followed the tactical demonstrations and the engagement of troops concentrated in the field, as part of the final phase of the exercise.

Following this, Brigadier General Lilo informed the Minister through a comprehensive presentation on all aspects of "Defender 25", including the preparatory phase, planning conferences, international participation, strategic objectives, engaged capacities, and lessons learned from its development.

On this occasion, Minister Vengu expressed his gratitude and thanks to all participating personnel, highly appreciating the dedication, professionalism and high level of cooperation shown during all phases of the exercise.

The visit concluded with a joint lunch of the Minister with the troops, as a sign of respect and motivation for their engagement in this important military exercise./CNA
