After requesting the opening and inspection of ballots from all ballot boxes in the Tirana district, today 2 members of the KAS also requested the opening and inspection of ballots from the Fier district.

Tomorrow, the KAS has announced the review of the DP's appeal for the Elbasan, Durrës, Berat and Vlora regions.

If we follow the logic so far, the DP has bypassed the requests for opening ballot boxes and checking ballots for districts such as Kukësi, Lezha, Korça and Gjirokastra.
But the selection criteria seem to be related to the claims and responsibilities of the leaders of certain districts in addition to the massive number of ballot boxes that are required to be checked.

Thus, Flamur Noka in Tirana and Gazmend Bardhi in Fier are trying, if not to discharge personal responsibility, at least to postpone the analysis of responsibility on themselves in these 2 regions on which 2 members of the KAS have vetoed.
On the other hand, Berisha himself intends to postpone as long as possible the wave of demands from the remaining DP, regarding his personal responsibility as the chairman of the DP.

If what is expected happens, that is, the request for the inspection of all the boxes in 4 or 5 of the largest districts of the country, then these elections will set a record not only for the duration of the review of the complaints, but also for the increased costs that the State Budget will have to make available for the elections. And everything simply and only at the request of 2 members of the KAS.
In the best case, that is, if the inspection does not result in errors beyond human errors, the results of the inspection will at least affect the need to repeal the competence that the Code recognizes today to 2 members of the KAS to request the opening of the boxes without limitation and without criteria. As for killing consciences for funds spent in vain, there are not many written norms for this.
However, without waiting for what will happen next, it is now clear that the request for the opening of the boxes comes from Berisha and not from any other spirit.
