Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, was present at the High-Level Conference of the Directors General of Customs of the Western Balkan countries.
In her speech, Balluku stated that regarding the integration process, Albanian customs have several specific tasks.
Further, the Deputy Prime Minister said that Albania will be the entry and exit gateway to the European Union, which requires commitment and human capacity in Albanian customs.
Balluku said that the main goal of this conference is to focus on concrete measures to facilitate trade between entities.
"We are more engaged than ever with the Albanian customs, which have specific tasks in this process. At the special meeting of the EP, Albania's commitment to EU membership was appreciated. Albania will be the gateway to entry and exit from the Union. This requires commitment and human capacity for the Albanian customs. During the sessions of this conference you will have fruitful discussions. The main goal is to focus on concrete measures to facilitate trade between entities ", said Balluku./ CNA
