A day ago, the foreign media "Eureporter" published a news story, where it pulled out some documents and accused MP Monika Kryemadhi of having received payments from offshore companies of Russian oil businessmen, great supporters of President Vladimir Putin.

After the news echoed in all Albanian media, the article about Monika Kryemadhi was deleted. Regarding the accusations of payments from Russian oligarchs, the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, reacted this evening.

During a meeting with the PL Tirana structures, Meta said that these claims are ridiculous and false.

According to him, the news in "Eureporter" was paid for with the money of the incinerators.

"The "Financial Times" was also taken yesterday with them, they paid for an article that Monika had received payments from oligarchs connected to Putin. They are ridiculous and fake. But they do this with the money of the incinerators, they are used for media plans in Albania. All the slanders and those that are propagated are with the money of the incinerators and corruption", emphasized the head of PL./ CNA
