Yesterday evening, the socialist mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, was arrested on account of SPAK, under charges of abuse of office, falsification of documents and forms and favoring a company with tenders.

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, also reacted to Alla's handcuffing.

During a meeting with the citizens in Lushnje, Berisha said Lefter Alla wanted to run again in the local elections, but the party did not let him and held him hostage with a file.

According to him, the mayor's refusal to leave brought him to this point.
