"Historic coalition with the DP"/ Meta: Program centered on patriotism

The meeting of the National Steering Committee of the Freedom Party is taking place this afternoon. The leader of the party, Ilir Meta, delivered his speech via an audio message. From prison, Meta said that the coalition with the Democratic Party is historic.

Meta said that his program ends Albania's depopulation through policies that support and strengthen the family.

Meta added that this is a coalition of values, the foundation of which lies in patriotism, the protection of family and society from Sorosification.

"Dear members of the National Steering Committee of the Freedom Party!

Greeting everyone and thanking you for your support and solidarity, I would like to wish you success in this important meeting, which I could not miss today either.

A year ago, at the historic Convention of April 27, we approved our program of 5 major Priorities for 4 million plus Albanians.

Today we have joined a historic coalition with the Democratic Party and 25 other parties, not only to guarantee political rotation, but also to open a new path, that of realizing our concrete program, which ends the depopulation of Albania through policies that support and empower the family and young couples, through doubling pensions and salaries, through doubling support for education, with the aim of strengthening human capital and our youth.

Through exceptional support for agriculture and food, as well as our program to promote domestic production and processing and manufacturing investments with the ultimate goal of transforming Albania into an exporting power.

This final goal, this fifth priority of our program, Albania the Exporting Power, is for us the Great Albania that we will achieve.

We are proud that 20 years ago, with the creation of the Socialist Movement for Integration, we guaranteed not only political rotation in the country, but also helped unblock the country's European Integration.

We will be even more proud on May 12th for the overthrow of the Narco-Regime and the Narco-Economy, which have not only expelled 1 million Albanians, but have also currently plunged 42% of the remaining population into extreme poverty.

This is first and foremost a coalition of values, founded on patriotism, the protection of family and society from Russification, but also an economic model that supports domestic production and strengthens exports.

Just so you know, the Freedom Party has an agreement with this coalition for parliamentary representation, as mandated by the anti-democratic Electoral Code of "Rilindja".

In this coalition, the Freedom Party will be represented based on the mandates won in April 2021.

But I must express my conviction that with the method of representation and organization that the Freedom Party Presidency has chosen, we will in any case have a double-digit parliamentary group.

For this, we need to select candidates from open lists who are as inclusive and representative as possible.

I also want to strongly emphasize that our highest priority is the complete victory of this coalition in the first place.

It is much more important that the coalition obtains as many mandates as possible, as this helps us, as well as other allied parties, to win more mandates on the open lists.

For us, the victory of the coalition, which is the broadest and most representative, is crucial.

Likewise, the historic result of the Freedom Party will give due weight to this historic victory that is in the interest of all Albanians wherever they are.
