The Political Leader of the DP for the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, is today present at the protest, where the removal of Erion Veliaj is demanded, after the scandal with the "5D" file.

Kelliçi accused the mayor of abusing tenders and stealing millions of euros from Albanians. 

Kelliçi emphasized that Tirana has turned into a money laundering launderer thanks to Erion Veliaj. According to him, Veliaj will soon go to prison for corrupt affairs. 

"Where are you, thief Erion Veliaj? You have not left a tender without stealing in the Municipality of Tirana. We do not forgive Ardi Gjoklajn. The citizens of Tirana have given 130 million euros for incinerators and there are no incinerators. The Municipality of Tirana is headed by a bandit. Where are you Erion Veliaj, have you turned Tirana into a money laundering launderer? You have prevented change in Tirana by any means. Very soon he will go to prison. Justice will be served, like it or not, Erion Veliaj. This battle is not is done to remove a mayor and install another one.
