The head of the FRPD, Besart Xhaferri, says in a post on social networks that today they will be in the square to demand the resignation of the head of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, after the scandal with the "5D" file. 

Xhaferri emphasizes that the residents of Tirana do not have a single motive not to be in the square in front of the Tirana City Hall today against the usurpers of our city.

"They entered the City Hall as a Civil Society and will come out as a Structured Criminal Group! The residents of Tirana have no reason not to be in the square in front of the Tirana City Hall today against the usurpers of our city. Tirana can no longer be governed by a thief greedy that with his G99 sting they entered the municipality as a Civil Society and are coming out of there as a structured criminal group. Today at 11:00 a.m. let's all stand up for ourselves, for our family and for our children that this caste mercenaries wants to leave them as collateral for their corruption. Time does not wait, we need civil disobedience until the removal of the most murderous sect that Albania has known!", he says. 

The protest was announced to start at 11:00 in front of the town hall, where the urgent resignation of Erion Veliaj will be demanded. Afterwards, the citizens will move in front of the Special Prosecutor's Office to notify them of the request.

The protest was organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater, while opposition parties and citizens joined it./CNA
