The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dashnor Sula, has opposed the decision of the deputies to put the Criminal Amnesty on the agenda.

Sula said that the inclusion in the agenda violates the regulation, while he emphasized that he is against this draft law.

He stated that the Criminal Amnesty is an important project, while he requested the meeting of the Laws Commission.

"I think you are in violation of the regulation by introducing Criminal Amnesty into the agenda. Don't try to make excuses. Talk about amnesty, as I am essentially against it, but Albania's regulations must be respected. It is not about a project at all, but about an important project. Now I am getting this notification. We didn't know that today would be the amnesty discussion. You passed it with one-sided votes, without the opposition being present. Clause by clause, as far as the amnesty is concerned, I think it has to be discussed. The Laws Commission should have been convened", underlined the deputy./ CNA
