Ivi Kaso: Goro's arrest, directed by those who forced him to sign for Xhačka

The legal representative of the DP, Ivi Kaso, has reacted to the arrest of the acting mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, for alienation of property.

For Kaso, the arrest was directed by Prime Minister Edi Rama and aimed at rescuing former minister Olta Xhaçka.

He stated that Goro was sent to prison by the people who forced him to sign to announce Artan Gaçin, Xhaçka's husband, as a strategic investor.

"In Edi Rama's Albania, there is another political prisoner, Fredi Beleri, who is in prison so that Edi Rama and his people steal properties on the coast.

We had another arrest, that of Jorgo Goros, but this was a staged arrest to save Olta Xha?ka. Goro is in prison by those who forced him to sign with one foot, what they asked him to do, to announce Olta Xhaçka and her husband as strategic investors", Kaso said at the democrats' protest for former prime minister Sali Berisha./ CNA
