After resigning from his post as head of the Democratic Party in Korça, Devis Osmani told CNA that he is very busy with work and could not afford this commitment.
He said that he resigned for some personal reasons.
"I resigned because of the workload I have at work and for some personal and family reasons. I could no longer keep it as a commitment. I received the understanding of the base, normally they did not want me to leave, but they understood me after I put them in know the reasons. And the political situation is something that requires a lot of commitment, which I could not afford", he said.
Osmani was elected chairman of the DP in this district in April 2022. He is known as a supporter of the former prime minister Sali Berisha. /CNA
