DP leader Sali Berisha, invited to the Çim Peka Live show, stated that Blendi Gonxhja received votes in the May 11 elections from gangs.
He said that the Xhabafte gang terrorized Vora. According to Berisha, the gang was initially led by the arrested mayor Erion Veliaj, while now it is led by Blendi Gonxhja.
"The country's largest cities were attacked by gangs, the Xhabafta terrorized Vora. We had no other choice but to denounce."
The result was 5000 votes for Blendi Gonxhja, 2000 votes for Orlando Rakipi. Erion Veliaj had the gang and Gonxhja took it. In Tirana, Gonxhja received over 20 thousand votes.
The clandestine offices were the most brutal form of patronage activity that the Bulgarian train was involved in. They would go and cast their votes at these offices and receive money, and were given hundreds of certificates and property titles.
